We seek to improve and develop players for scouting both locally and internationally by playing league matches every year.

RAISING STARS JUNIOR LEAGUE is a brainchild of Express Soccer Academy; an academy that seeks to improve and develop players for scouting both locally and internationally by playing league matches every year.

For many years, no institution has been able to understand that for players to develop and improve their skill and performance, playing in the league throughout the year is the BEST WAY since players are able to practice, compete on a weekly basis and therefore their chances of becoming TOP PLAYERS in the future is higher.

The idea was mooted in November, 2018 and matches commenced in February, 2019 and which ended in November, 2019 with Express Soccer Academy as the league coordinator. Several academies are participating in this unique league.

Raising Stars Junior League focuses on the holistic approach to the development of junior and young people through Football. Football promotes a healthy lifestyle, is fun and helps to create lifelong friendships. It also teaches life skills such as teamwork, leadership and resilience

League Goals & Mission

Enhancing lives by leading innovative development of competitive youth football in Kenya in partnership with league partners and local federation.

Objectives:

Raising stars Junior League hopes to give opportunities to young and upcoming players an environment and platform to compete as they develop and improve their skills.
To provide a platform for local and international clubs to scout and player placements.
To create an environment for children in learning virtues in life- skills as we develop personalities for the future through mentorship.
Give our young coaches the opportunity to coach and compete on a weekly basis as they develop their individual coaching skills to make them bettercoaches in the future.
Capacity building for the coaches and referees. Offers coaches and referees training from time to time hence improves the level of officiating and quality football.
Promote social inclusion, gender equality and the safeguarding/protection of children in sports

Players taking part in the league are taught to conserve the environment and address other social issues affecting the society.
