The Express Foundation is the social impact arm of Express Academy, formerly known as the Maurice Mbowo Foundation.

Founded by visionary coach Maurice Mbowo, the Foundation is rooted in the belief that sport is a powerful vehicle for personal growth, community development, and social equity.

What we do

Talent Sponsorship

We identify promising young athletes and provide full or partial sponsorships for training, equipment, and tournament participation — including international trips to destinations like Dubai, Arusha, and Europe.

Beyond football, we offer structured mentorship programs focused on leadership, discipline, teamwork, and resilience — helping youth navigate life’s challenges with confidence.

We partner with schools and institutions to ensure that our beneficiaries maintain strong academic performance alongside their athletic development.

From local tournaments to school visits, we engage communities in meaningful ways — promoting inclusion, gender equity, and positive youth development.
